Murilo Menezes, Juvo’s Vice President for Latin America, has a career spanning 20+ years in the region.
In 1998, Murilo implemented together with his Business Development Director at GTECH the first fintech/social project in Brazil that allowed inhabitants of small villages to top-up pre-paid phones and pay bills in lottery houses – instead of having to walk or drive to bigger nearby cities to find bank branches. Twenty years later, he joined Juvo to continue the work of providing access to creditworthy yet financially excluded people in Latin America.
Prior to joining Juvo, Murilo has worked at companies providing value-added and contextual marketing services to mobile operators, such as Comverse, Intervoice, Flash Networks, Pontis and Amdocs.
He is a graduate of the Escola Politécnica of the Universidade de São Paulo in Brazil, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. Murilo will complete his Executive Master in Marketing and Sales (EMMS) from SDA Bocconi in Milan (Italy) and ESADE in Barcelona and Madrid (Spain) next February 2020. He lives in Miami, Florida with his wife and two sons.
