Mohan Gyani is a wireless industry veteran. He was the former President and CEO of AT&T Wireless Mobility Group. He played key roles in the $1.6 Billion IPO of AirTouch in 1993 and the $10.6 Billion IPO of AT&T Wireless in 2000. Mr. Gyani led AT&T Wireless domestic voice and data mobility businesses, focusing on completing the expansion of the company’s footprint across the U.S. and accelerating growth, particularly in the wireless data business. He was instrumental in helping produce industry pace-setting growth in subscribers and revenue while improving profitability and evolving the business to mainstream next-generation technology. Following the merger of Vodafone and AirTouch, Mr. Gyani was the head of Strategy and Corporate Development and served on the Board of Directors for Vodafone AirTouch PLC. Prior to the merger, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of AirTouch. Mr. Gyani also serves, or has served, on the boards of directors of Ruckus Wireless, Audience, Inc., Keynote Systems, Inc., Safeway, Inc., Union Bank, N.A. and other private companies.
